	HOW THE MINISTRY WAS FORMED
"And how can they hear without a preacher? And how can they preach unless they are sent." (Rom. 10:14,15)	God initially put a yearning in the heart of a few Ethiopian Christians, living in the United States, to reach out to those laboring to proclaim the Gospel of Christ despite personal deprivation and extreme sacrifice. God, in his divine providence, pulled these believers together to form TFC in January of 2000. A Board that cuts through denominational boundaries was set up to direct and oversee the mission of TFC, and an Executive Committee to run its day to day activities. TFC is a not for profit and tax exempt Christian Organization that devotes 100 % of the funds it raises and the donations it receives towards the support of missionaries and evangelism in Ethiopia and elsewhere.
